Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995)

AKA: Ace Ventura Goes to Africa

This is exactly what you would expect from a a sequel to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. There are enough alrighty then's and crazy Ace antics to keep the movie going forward. It is really a one man show. Jim Carey and the Ace Ventura character are a match made in heaven. Of course he had to try to milk it for all that it was worth. And that worth is 5 million+ for Jim Carey to continue this role in the sequel.

The plot is character driven and goes in the direction that leads to the most comedic scenarios for Ace. Surprisingly for a movie without any real interesting plot like the first one, it is still entertaining.

So for a collector of Jim Carey movies it is worth buying to complete a collection but it is not Carey's best movie or even as good as the original.
